As we start 2022 and the festive season fades, I’m reminded about the importance of hope, resilience – and taking a breath.
Hope keeps us moving forward.
Resilience is how we bounce back from challenges in front of us.
So, what does it really mean to take a breath?
Taking a breath gives space to regroup amidst what can often feel like a combination of chaos and catastrophe. Or when it feels like life is in charge of you – instead of the other way around.
Hopefully, this end of year break has given you a chance to take a breath and regroup, at least a little, before heading back into your everyday routine.
Whether it has or hasn’t, there’s still time. Plus, the chance to make it a habit.
Taking a breath is about ‘slowing down to speed up’.
May your 2022 be full of moments that reinforce the value of ‘taking a breath’ regularly – so it becomes a habit.
