Thanks to the neuroplasticity of our brain – the lifelong capacity of the brain to change and rewire itself in response to the stimulation of learning and experience1 – each of us has the ability to rewire our thinking. It puts the science into why doing things differently and learning new things is important, and why repetition matters.
There’s plenty of anecdotes and quotes about the importance of how we think. Of the influence it has on what we say and do – and on how things turn out. Think of the person who constantly says “I never get sick”… and doesn’t. Or someone who goes into a conversation saying “I know this will end badly” … and it does.
